Strange... 9J should fit no problem... Does it fit in upside down?

i may be able to force it in but god knows how it will come out
its too wide
19" 255-40-19 fits perfect
but not the 20"

The 19" tyre has a diameter of 687mm where the 20" tyre is 700mm a difference of 1.9%

I've got the 20x9's on my car, but I run a 19" spare. That's what the car came with from new.

Me too. 20" with a 19" spare. Hence many D3's will have unused spares

Hmm, Mine has 20" wheels with an 18" spare. Surprised me somewhat when I had reason to use it. The spare is a full sized wheel with a normal looking (previously unused) tyre on it - but has 50mph and 80kph speed limit warnings on massive yellow stickers (of the type I think I have seen on space savers).

It didn't seem to detract from the ride comfort at the suggested speed (or possibly slightly above).

I replaced it with the original without undue delay.

I'll check the spare tyre size and report back shortly.

Regards,
John

275-35-20 is only 2% larger than a 255-40-19
so i think thats the right size for a 19" spare wheel that fits in the well ok
help me out somebody
