Anyone know where the earth point G43 is in the cabin , it says its above right kick panel but is it the same for a RHD car since we have our relay box in the passenger side not the drivers side ?

Not a clue, but did you manage to find and clean up the earth in the wheel arch? And what brought up the G43 earth point?

Electrician has been out , it looks like its the ignition side that's breaking down rather than the earth, he managed to get display to work correctly by shorting out in the relay box, he wanted to take car over to his garage so he could remove airbag and wheel to check the switch further, incase he needs to trace to the fuse box.

So I have ordered a new switch , surely that can be replaced without taking off the wheel.
After reading I see it cant, looks easy enough I will try replacing the switch myself first
