First get a new hip. Its easy and will transform your life like no car ever can.

Oh yes!
When you've got your hip fixed, and tried out all your car options try a D3. They are quite a bit higher than the D2, plus you can lift the suspension which makes for an easier exit.

(I'm after a Q5 - X3 to replace my wifes scooby)

Maybe the new hip is like a retrofit upgrade?

um yeah, not needing a new hip, but the missing muscle puts extra strain on the hip, that's all.

I can have surgery on the muscle, and probably will - happened about a year ago, Docs said to see how it goes for a while as the surgery is quite nasty because they open up the whole of the front of the thigh, and recovery period is at least 4-5 months.

Anyway, back on subject, if the Porsche ever does sell, I will probably be on the market for a similar priced D3 of some description.

Mind you, had the roof down today for the first time this year, getting to like the Boxster again

Hmm... Never thought about brick s**thouse.

Looks very classic for me.

Interestingly, my wife loves how this car looks. If I have 50.000 to shell out for a used car, I'll probably buy one of these. For my wife of course.
