Default 4.2tdi 06/07

I am considering selling my 4.2tdi 06/07.
135k miles
10 months mot

I am over in ni. I will be looking 4-4.5k

Car is going great.

2 minor points. Mmi screen opens and closes about 80%. Been like this for years doesn’t bother me. As the screen is still fully visible. And has not got any worse.

Secondly, can be hard to start in the very cold mornings. But always starts.
It simply needs new glowplugs. I have held off doing these as it always starts, but if I keep I will prob do this year.

Reason of selling; I have bought a swb w12 d3

Front rear heated seats
Rear electric blind
Full service history
See my sig
Owned by me since sep 17.

A SWB W12 D3! You know the rules Chris, pictures or it didn't happen

You'll either have to get to one of the annual meets or drive the Wild Atlantic Way to get the most out of it.

Hehe - will get some up when I decide which I am keeping. I’d say the 4.2tdi is near as quick and far more economal. But it’s a diesel at the end of the day!

Yes will be up for a meet in the summer

W12 is staying - it’s just too good to sell on!! And that is high praise as my tdi really is a great car.

Going in for lpg conversion next week. Will get pics up when I get the wheels swapped over.

Will be interesting to hear how much it costs to run on LPG.

Station beside me is 64p litre. I look to be averaging about 18mpg. Might go up a bit after I get oil, plugs and air filters changed plus the warmer weather.

Either way should be the equivalent of around 30-35mpg. Looked at getting a bit of the rear exhaust cut out to give it a bit more sting.

Car with the lpg guy now so hopefully get it back next wkend.
