You won't get a facelift S8 for less than about £42k currently, pre-facelifts yes, but they're not as nice looking and cost twice as much in tax.

I agree it's over-priced but you're dreaming at £40k pal, it's £45-47k all day long.

As for a 50k RS6 (latest model), maybe a higher miles one, but not a 'nice' one.

Spec is not as good, but it still has the S8 spec, way nicer wheels, sunroof and the (essential IMHO) sports exhaust

sarg , thats really interesting and brought back memories of buying my first RS6
it too was £47,000 and after 3 hours of negotiating with cash i drove it away for £41,000
i wonder if i can pull that off again ? mmmmmmmmmmm

Correct ! and the early ones are £500+ road tax (i think) cant check as the reg number does show on DVLA

got the reg now and YEP £520 not bothered......
