Just be bcareful when ordering them to make sure that you get the set for ‘8s with 20” wheels

I don't think they do a kit for 20" cars - you have to buy all the bits individually.

The online catalogue is here: https://www.meyle.com/en/service-cen...ine-catalogue/

Just search on engine code AVP and it takes you straight to the S8, then
  • Product groups
  • Axle Mounting/ Steering/ Wheels
  • Wishbone/ Swing Arm Joint
  • Steering Links (wishbone, trailing link, diagonal arm)

My garage has been trying to get all the parts required (from TPS), ahead of my car going in for the suspension work and the new rear subframe.

Apparently, the subframe bushes were still available but there's one or two parts they're struggling to get ...

I'm told they require arm #10 (or should that be 10A?) and bolt #12. I assume these aren't handed (ie same for both sides)?

I believe the arm part number is 4D0 501 529H but we have no part number for the bolts.

So, are the bolts available new elsewhere, or should I risk buying used bolts?

Also, is the arm available as a Meyle HD part? And, if so, where can I order them from?

Thanks in advance

10A is available from Meyle - ebay the Audi number and the usual suspects will probably have listings for it, or look on the Meyle online catalogue. Apologies Mark - I have thus far not made your shopping list!)

Bolt #12 is 4D0501387 and is no longer available WTF we are supposed to do without those I don't know. Alas Meyle don't include those with the arms so you may have to order the bolt from one of the online German retailers who can buy from Tradition. In the meantime, I will look in to whether something can be subverted from another model.

I replace all the nuts in that area with standard M12x1.5 nylocs since they are pence and the genuine green ones were £3 each before they also became NLA.

Backup plan for #12 - the equivalent bolt for the C5 A6 is only 10mm longer (114mm vs 104mm) and still available on part number WHT001973.

Fantastic. Thanks MJ!

So what's the difference between #10 and #10A?

Are they left and right parts? Or is it that #10 includes the bolt and washer (#14 and #11) that appear not to be included with #10A?

10 is for the armoured version. It has the bolt captive in the end of the arm rather than separate - presumably a separate bolt is a vulnerability somehow.

The arm isn't handed.
