Battery Cranking Volts
My car is showing 9.6 volts on cranking, its been slow to start after 4-5 days of not been driven. New battery last year, it’s a 95Ah 800A not the stronger 110 or 120. Would this make a difference?

CCA rating is more important than the Ah rating, though a higher Ah rating means it has "more to give" so to speak.
A voltage drop during crank is to be expected, as the battery is having the oomph pulled out of it. I've never measured one to see if 9.6 is a standard voltage or not. One thing I have learner over the years though is that you should never under rate a battery for a diesel below that of OEM. In order to start the car, a smaller capacity battery will have more pulled out of it in comparison to a larger capacity battery, meaning the recovery time (as in charging) is higher.

Thanks Marty, I read if it falls below 10 volts while cranking, the battery is on its way out.
