Mini Van.

Back to simple motoring methinks. I love my 8, but it's just too expensive to run.

Shame really as it's the fastest most luxurious car I'll probably ever own, but boy am I gonna have fun in a Mini Van when I find a good 'un

Evening all, interesting thread this

Well, if I had a choice, it would be an RS5, but the reality is that the reason I joined this forum a few days ago was to wise up in my search for a D2 S8, which is maybe not what you're expecting to hear as most of you guys already have an A/S8...

Having said all that, I was originally looking to get a C5 RS6 but that would have involved parting with either the S4 or S2 so I swayed towards the S8 at half the price and (hopefully) half the trouble.

Surprised to hear Mr Singh's comments about the C5 interior as I have been suitably impressed - does that mean I'm in for a plesant surprise when I get into an S8...?

I have just driven a twenty minute journey in a C5 S6 about an hour ago, trust me. The A8 sport or standard S8 interior is twice as good, even the S6s recaro seats are no match for the S8s in terms of back support and just lookswise. You will be pleasantly surprised

The interior on the S6 and the RS 6 are the same, bar a few badges and a steering wheel on some older models. Infact I rekon the interior on our S6 is nicer than most RS 6s as it has the extended black alcantra option which most RS6s dont have, this means it has alcantra on the roof, pillars, parcelshelf etc.. and it has all the TV/Sat Nav etc just like the RS6 would.

Default Rs2

I've always fancied an RS2 but ended up modding an S2 coupe as I'm not that keen on avants...
