Modern 18v tools - $100 buys you a Chinese (Ozito etc) battery angle grinder or reciprocating saw.

I've got Hitachi 18v gear and it's brilliant. The Angle Grinder is as good as my 240V one.
How do you protect yourself against powerful tools like these?

Even padlocks and gate latches aren't secure - their noise is the only deterrent...
