Question Cleaning S8 exhaust tips

I asked this "elsewhere" and never got a good answer.

There is ingrained black soot on the tips on my car which I cannot shift. Metal polish on a dremel doesn't work. Tried wet'n'dry, but also struggling, and I didn't want to b****r the finish anyway.

What are you doing with yours?

Mine looks completely brand new right now, spray some Mr Muscle type stuff on them and leave it on for a while, after you have scrubbed it all off, use a polish such as Megs NXT or autosol to get a good shine and protect.

Just went out and took a pic, could do with another coat of polish. But you get the idea, they come up quite well
