Default It's what they're for...

Bank holidays that is...

As we were blessed with great weather all weekend I took the opportunity to do something with the 8 that I've been meaning to do for a while. I removed all wheels in turn, jet washed each wheel arch (filthy!!) and painted the discs and callipers, cleaned and polished the inner wheels....took a good few hours but time well spent

I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd consider it so?

Thats time well spent, and now you know they are clean inside = tranquil chi and calm OCD

2003 2.8 A8SQ - powder blueish. Fill in for a while. Sold on.
1998 1.8T A4 Avant FWD. Ming Blue (there's a theme here), PEX for the 97 S8.
And a list of non VAG going back 40 years before I saw the light.

Ah! - but shouldn't that be a hyphen rather than a comma after the OCD TLA in your second sentence Mike? And who's doing the correcting?

I really hope that you didn't paint the discs!

Current mods: solar sun roof, 20mm rear spacers, 15 mm on front, red brembo callipers, 6k headlights, rear view camera, engine remap, alloy dash dial rings, alloy navi rings, tt/phaeton pedal upgrade, (and custom matching foot rest) dension ipod interface & parrot hands free kit (both fully hidden), av input, tv in motion switched thro' PF switch in blanking plug right of steering column, Audi 'quattro' sill covers, repositioned centre console switches, radio clock, .
Planned mods: auto-dimming rear view mirror, dash cam (as steamship's), fit the ski hatch, refit philips drl's (or maybe not - nope, definitely not - horrible botch!).

New Pagid discs now come completely painted. The pads wear the paint off the friction surface as they bed in

IIRC I put a set of four on Big Red so it'll be interesting to see how they are doing six months on

My ATE discs were fully painted too
