Aux in Lead
I've seen a variety of solutions for getting music into the car, mostly the box units that allow you to control the iPhone to some extent using the car's controls.
I have no interest in this however, and just want a 3.5mm jack. Is the following item going to be suitable? Will it have the same sound quality, or would one of the Connects2 units be better? As you can see, I have next to no ICE knowledge. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-A8-98...-/171385558835 |

it looks like a fairly straightforward piece of wiring, just feeding the 3.5mm jack into the L+R audio feeds on the cd changer.
this wont charge your ipod and you will have to change tracks from the ipod itself. you want a simple cable to do a simple job, this is it. obviously you will need twin RCA to single 3.5mm cable too i would be tempted to get one of these, but i have just UPGRADED to a rns-e Mk2 and now have no need for anything else. but that costs more than £12!
