RNS-E 'ipod' adaptor removal

Hi all

I've got a Connect2 USB/SD/line thing in the glovebox, but it appears to be crap. I have a perfectly serviceable (I hope!) CD changer unused in the boot that the Connect2 box stealing the connection for.

Not really wishing to get into removal of a nice neat RNS-E install, is it possible to gain access to the CD changer plug by removing the glovebox or similar trim so I can yank the connection for the Connect2 box out and reinstate the changer?

Fingers crossed the CD changer that was there with the RNS-D is compatible with the RNS-E and has the same wiring.....
