FOR SALE - complete car for spares or repair - A8 4.2 Quattro Sport

Basic low down on this car is I bought it 05/2008 and drove it for a year and a half and it was a dream car with no issues at all.
I had an interested in the show scene back then and had previously stripped down Mk2 Golfs and restored them - so I decided to take my A8 off of the road for a strip down and rebuild.
I finished the back end, all suspension arms were polished up and everything in sight painted or cleaned up to an OCD standard.
I removed the front subframe, treated it, painted it and refitted it.
While I was in there I decided to replace the drivers side gearbox drive seal as it had a tiny drip of ATF coming from it.
When refitting the drive shaft the allen key bolt that holds the driveshaft snapped on the drive into the gearbox.
I have not removed this bolt and the engine is still semi stripped down with fluids dropped out.

Sadly due to a change in circumstances I have never been able to get back to the car and finish her off - I have held onto her for so long as I have always intended getting around to finishing everything off and getting her back on the road.

It is now up for sale as my circumstances are never going to change and i'm not going to get the time to go back and finish this project off.

Full S8 Electric Recaro Interior in black leather with memory bank function and heating seats - Great condition all round, with very slight bolster wear to the drivers seat as pictured.

BOSE Soundsystem

S8 18" Genuine AVUS Alloys with brand new Falken FK452 245/45ZR18 100Y tyres - Mint condition, no kerbing or marks.

5 Digit private plate: A8 XSV

FK Highsport adjustable Coilover kit

Not long before it was taken off the road all of this work was done:
- All 8 front suspension arms done - not covered many miles since then.
- Front wheel bearings done
- New trackrod ends
- Gearbox filter and ATF done.

Engine and box were both extremely strong even though it has covered 180k
It is such a well built machine the V8 feels absolutely superb and the mileage did not worry me one bit since it has been so well serviced throughout it life.

Audi Dealership service history up to 150k and then twice at local Audi Specialist upto 170k
Also the fact it has the bulletproof 4 speed box was a big selling point for me.

Subframe has been removed coated with anti-rust, sealed and refitted.

One smoothed front bumper with the swage line removed and another spare front bumper that has been rubbed down.

This car can not be driven away in its current state.
I will refit the front wheels and remove the axle stands the front end is up on just now.

This car can easily be broken for some seriously good cash if no one wants to rebuild it.
Upullit are taking the aluminium as scrap for 500+
It has coilovers, mint alloys, brand new tyres, mint interior and loads of other brand new parts.
I don't have the time to rebuild or to break it.

Could the drive shaft be refitted with the other allen bolts for a drive back to Essex?

Which pictures show the car in the state it is in now and what needs to be fitted to make it safe to drive one way to Essex?
