Reading the A3\4 threads about people fitting FBMFSW and it appears for them its pretty much a bolt in and work job. If the wheel has pedals and MF switches. It changes if you don't.

But for the A8 its different again.
This thread says it not possible with out some modding.

Oh bugger, so even the flat bottom wheel from the pre facelift Audis doesn't appear to work?! I thought it would have been a straight swap definitely!

I see someone in the members cars section has done it, so I'll see what was involved exactly for them.
