How do you get the bolt out from the suspension guide link?
Hi guys, I am trying to replace the guide link on my front suspension, lower-rear.
I have got a tech manual that tells me to undo the three bolts that hold the subframe and that should lower it enough to get the bolt out. Guess what - no lowering!!! I have seen someone suggest cuttin the bolt - but how do you get the new one in without using a large hammer? Any help would be appreciated. Martin

If you cut the old bolt out by grinding off the bolt head you will need a long nosed pair of pliers and ease the thing out into the subframe.
I always insert new bolts in by putting them into the subframe head first towards the front then threading them into the hole for the link using long nosed pliers. As for lowering the subframe you need to support it with a jack and undo all 4 bolts. Lower the jack (very carefully) take out the bolt then jack it back up.
