Brake pedal bush
How easy is it to replace the bush in the top of the brake pedal (i.e. what the pedal pivots on)?
Anyone got any experiance of this, or can anyone tell me how easy it is to drop the pedal assembly?

Here is a diagram of the pedal cluster. Doesn't look to difficult to do.

Sold on. 1998 1.8T A4 Avant FWD. Ming Blue (there's a theme here), PEX for the 97 S8. And a list of non VAG going back 40 years before I saw the light.

Relating that back to the picture here, it looks compeltey different?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Audi-A8-D2-FL-...item2a05705f84 Im sure the pedal in the car is a bent steel plate (as per the ebay link) and not a cast / forged item with ribs as per the one in the diagram?

Right. The picture is closer to the real thing than the diagram. The diagram is for a LHD manual. I can't find a schematic of a RHD automatic.
