Keys
It is something to do with the key recognition. Maybe it has lost the coding or there is another key nearby...

I think it's a compliment on your driving
 Or... it's tripped some kind of security thing, possibly component protection. I think my PF did this and a quick VCDS scan and clear made it go away.
