Changing side indicators from orange (de-tango)
My side (front wing) indicator repeaters are still the original orange plastic.
Having changed my Focus ones to clear (well very light grey tint) with orange bulbs I'd like to do the same on the S8. I've also changed the front indicator bulbs (on the S8) from standard orange to the "mirror chrome" variety for a better look, though now they actually look slightly blue from some angles through the lens  .Where's the best place to get clear or lightly-tinted side repeater units from? My car is Agate Grey so I'm wondering if a light grey tint would look better than clear. I think my bulbs are already orange as the plastic has faded a bit and new orange bulbs were fitted to pass the MOT a while back. IIRC FL cars have clear units anyway, but they look a bit bigger (illusion?) - are they compatible or not and are they the best option if so? TIA for any advice.

Finally: gone, but not forgotten..... 1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors. e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon, Auto-dim mirror, Leather, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer. And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!
