If its visual .. the W12 ones a direct bolt on and can be sourced fairly easy... as stated above they are 385mm compared to the 360mm on the 4.2 tdi they share the same as the 4.2 petrol. the difference in size is actually quite staggering .. as 25mm dose not sound that much more but it dose make a difference. especially given the 4.2TDI's heavy front end it gathers speed well and maintains it rather like the W12

I might shoot myself in the foot asking the next question but i want to know

Is it possible to buy the ceramic caliper and use steel discs?

Incase someone wants to know, if it is possible then i would of course repaint the caliper and remove the ceramic text so it only says Audi on the side.
