Default Trailer Fault Code

The below fault code keeps coming up for the trailer module.
I thought I got rid of it by changing the coding from 0000001 to 001001.

But its back again.

I've checked the cables around the module up in to the battery area and it all appears to be ok.

Anyone came across this before or got any ideas?

There's a couple of places you need to code the trailer module out properly. I'd imagine that the module itself has a fault, or it's the wiring down at the actual socket end that maybe has a short in it.

Short to Plus, if IIRC refers to a sensor connection short to the supply.

For example if you had a sensor with three wires
  • 12v
  • 0v
  • Signal

A short to plus would be between 12v and signal
A short to ground (0v) would be between (0v) and signal

I have not looked through the schematics but that may give you some ideas where to look.

I was sent these documents about the trailer.

I'll some extra checking over the weekend and next week.

I'm wondering if I knocked something when taking the battery in and out while fixing my boot.
