Grrrr, this sodding car
Is it ever going to let me just enjoy it?
As per other thread i replaced the battery. since then the cruise won't work and the nearside mirror dips on reverse but never comes back up again!(both worked fine before teh battery was disconnected) Oh and I spotted this weekend its started leaking coollant from the front( I guess water pump or gasket or something. ) I'm sure its just testing my resolve but its starting to get tiresome!!!!!!!

sounds like maybe some settings that need to be re-set up after changing the battery on VAGcom? I seem to remember reading somewhere there is a fairly complicated route to go down to replace the battery but not lose some settings?

When I replaced my battery I had all sorts stop - the Auto windows for one.. but it sll sorted itself out (windows need a complete down and up to reset for example)
Nothing stopped working full stop to be honest. And due to my inability to lean in the boot and handle a better weighing the same as a small child into a compartment it only just fits in without getting the + and - cables jammed behind it.. I guess it was off for about 15-20 mins..
