Which will protect you from the newer scammers, who attack cars with keyless go through what is called a relay attack, effectivly snooping on the signal from your key (inside you house or even pocket) and retransmitting it to your car so they can open and start it. The D2 send B7 both predate keyless, so not susceptible to this issue.
