Mine did exactly the same earlier this year. Strangely, during a visit to the Audi garage, driven by their pickup person. Never done it before.
Anyway. New sensor fixed it. Um two new sensors fixed it. How does that happen then? They got the wrong one first time, but it was not their fault. Give it a few days and maybe it'll clear up

Just for such people like you Ian, I have arranged for Aspect Valeting to be there in the show ground with their vans and equipment and they will do a basic wash snow foam and dry etc externally from £15 but very much NOT local hand car wash style!
If anyone wants to book their car in at a specific time then let me know and I'll sort it, otherwise you will be queuing up if any others are there first.

Aftermarket DVB-T, reversing camera and full XCarlink (Bluetooth etc.). 2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation". (A much rarer model than a D2 S8 by the way!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!  Finally: gone, but not forgotten..... 1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors. e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon, Auto-dim mirror, Leather, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer. Sorted, replacement sensor from Prestige (£28 inc P+P) versus £98.64 for a new one from Audi (ready to paint)
Had it done while I had the MOT done, two advisories on rear tyres which isn't a problem as I'm swapping onto my FE wheels anyway while I get the standard wheels refurbished. Apart from the advisories nothing else, and no fault codes when it was scanned Only other option I'd considered is having some decent winter tyres fitted to the standard wheels and keeping the FE's mint for a future sale. Any suggestions on good winter tyres for 20" wheels?
