Third brake light cover

Hello lads
The cloth that covers the third brake light cover had started to peel and come off, looked unsightly through back window
So tonight I pulled it all off, cut up a good thick black tee shirt I had not worn for ages and re trimmed the panel, good job done

Mine's beginning to bunch up a little - how did you remove the light cover to do the re-trim?
