Front seat wiring help

Evening all,

I've just purchased myself a front passenger sports seat from a volvo breaker of all people and I intend on building it into my sim racer mk2. What I would like to do it enable the electric adjustment. Is this possible with just supplying power to the seat (and if so which pins are the live and neutral) or do I have to do any trickery to make it think it's in a car (i.e. CANBUS stuff)
