Mine is still untouched, unless the previous owner de coked it during its first three years, which is very unlikely, and it seems to be to be running as it should.
That video is inconclusive. His uncleaned inlets didn't look that bad. A big outlay for a minimal uplift in output. I'd say that there's something else wrong with his car.

I'm gonna do the carbon clean and manifold flap delete in June, Dino before and after so will post my results. I've seen the video of the US guy on YouTube and his made 280-something bhp before the clean, which is ludicrous and shows he had more problems then just carbon

Yes, I completely agree that his engine has other problems besides the carbon, but the carbon clean seems to have had a positive effect.

Mine made 322 bhp on the dyno because the manifold bank motors were disconnected so no air was getting through to the engine properly. Since I fixed them it feels so much quicker but not been back for a dyno ru to see the difference in bhp yet
