A Brighter Light
Thanks all for the kind thoughts.
Yesterday was a much improved time. First we saw the specialist and he has diagnosed Gwen with bronchiectasis (please do not ask me to pronounce it). This means that we at least understand her symptoms and we can start to repair things. Then we had an addittion, at 19:16 Isaac Jai came in at 8lbs 8ozs. Both well even Dad is OK.

So glad to hear that you guys now have a handle (unpronounceable as it may be) on Gwen's issue.
And fabulous to hear of the arrival of your new grandson, Isaac Jai. At 8lbs 8ozs he's a big'un. Congratulations both (and Mum & Dad too  And don't worry about disturbed sleep, you'll be back to normal in a year or so
