Default Headlight washers

Can the frequency of these be adjusted at all? A mate had a look on VCDS but couldn't see anything.

The drivers side one always sprays at the very end after the windscreen wipers have finished, so I always need to give them another flick to clear the screen.

How about adjusting jets slightly???
I've got same issue, it annoys me a lot !!!

To be honest that would be best option, if you tell it to do driver's side first then you will have same issue on the passenger's side.

Duration will make no difference either, it may just make it worse.

What would you like to achieve??

On some VAG models, you can change the frequency. For example, only run on every 4th windscreens wash.

It also annoys me how the A8 does a dry upstroke of the windscreen wipers before any water comes out. Other makes such as BMW, start the washers a fraction of a second before the wipers moves thus wetting the windscreen first and have done since the 1980s.

I agree it's bloody annoying, early wipe , then headlights washers oversoray everywhere , then a auto wiper that goes mental when there is next to no water on the screen require it to be turned off fir a bit.

Good ideas with questionable execution.

Excellent, thought it was just my car.

On other cars the washers only come on on the 4th (for example) wash of the windscreen. Makes far more sense.

I think an email to Ross-Tech could answer our question ...??

And I agree, every function of wipers and washers is annoying on these cars
