I just phoned my mate up and said "I want full LED kit for my A8" and he sent me them.

All fitted apart from the number plate LEDs, the screws holding the lights in was crap and rounded off, so I'll order some new screws and lenses on tuesday.

I read about your thread about the flickering. Its a common fault, the resisters get hot, burn out or melt the solder holding them on. Hopefully these will be ok if not I got some in the garage I play about with. They was originally built for late 8Ps as they are a little bit more fussy on the number plate lights for some reason and should not overheat.

The trouble with using a single style of 501 LED for all bulbs is the light spread don't always be that effective. The door lights for example, the light will be shining towards the top of the lense when you really want it shining out of the lense. It works fine for things like the map reading lights and interior lights but the light spread is never that great for the doors. That's my thoughts any way.

The footwell lights is one single LED which seems a bit poo, these has 4, so should be a lot brighter just a shame I broke one of the footwell lights when I was taking them out.

Also done all the ones in the boot and lid as well, it was always dark in there.

I'll get some night pics when it gets dark.

Went a bit mad with the LEDs after that point. Even felt the urge to change the GU10 bulbs in my porch lol

Done same thing mate. GU10 LEDs in the kitchen now (x5), daughters bedroom (x3), bathroom (x3), living room (x4) wall's spot lights and arch lighting inc remotes for multicolor functions and all sort of things, bloody cool when other lights are off.
