Bits of it make me laugh, and equally other bits make me cringe, or I just don't find them funny, but like anything new, I think it will take time to evolve into something good, and I hope it will as the entertainment value from previous top gear shows is something that's still missing on many current other tv shows!

meh. 4 episodes. 1st and third fairly entertaining. Two and Four not so much. The 'adventure' films were always the weakest part of TG and they've just gotten weaker...

Seriously considering not bothering with any more, TBH.

Watching the 5th episode, it seems from the studio based stuff like Hammond is off his **** on class A.

Is it just me that finds him a bit difficult to tolerate?

Quite enjoying it , the " specials" we're always the best bits on the BBC editions
And it's the same now , still better than most stuff I watch though ( masterchef , bake off , salvage hunters mostly )

Had to admit, I liked the episode from Finland. The Ford vs Ferrari piece by James May was up there with classic TG camerawork

Remember Stuart Hall?
Many years back, well before he fell from grace he opened an International Travel Shop Line. The first was opened with great pomp and circumstance in Middleton, North East of Manchester. I was involved because a Military Band had been booked and I had the job of transporting them to and fro from their camp near Bromsgrove.
Grand opening performed by some dignitary and the band marched with streams of kids and other hangers on following them around Middleton Town Centre.
When we arrived back at the newly opened shop there was a bit of a furore going on. They had set up some big banners that read rather nicely "Stuart Hall International Travel".
Unfortunately the smaller banners and the preprinted handouts used the initials

"SH1T"
