MMI on board Handbook
Does anybody have the electronic handbook installed on their MMI? What does it contain and is it worth getting a disc?
I assume it just stays in the disc drive all the time and can be accessed at any point (by pressing the top right button near the MMI wheel if I remember)

You leave it in slot 1 and it comes up when you choose Handbook on the main CAR screen. It is OK, based on HTML, but very slow to load and navigate. If you want a copy, I can make an ISO for you to burn and put it on Dropbox or something.

Seriously, Don't bother. It's incredibly, infuriatingly sloooow
 I have mine loaded in the now pretty much redundant CD player and unless I'm feeling particularly masochistic (like when waiting endlessly outside of Monsoon for instance) it's quicker to get the handbook.... from home

When I put it for the first time it took me only few minutes to decide about not touching it again, absolutely useless unless you like reading stuff written in manual language and as tonupkid said its really really slow
You will need a pillow, blanket, portable cooker and kettle powered by cigaret lighter coz you will stay in your car for days to get somewhere.

I am after a copy of the handbook, whether via to download and burn myself on to a dvd disc or a an actual disc itself, if anyone can help with this I would be extremely grateful and should it need to be bought, cost dependant I can do that also.

Options: Keyless Entry & Start, Bluetooth Hands Free, Quad Zone Climate, 3 Spoke Sports Tiptronic Multi Function Steering Wheel, Black Leather Comfort Seats, AMI, Drivers & Passenger Electric Memory Seats, Auto Dimming Mirrors, Bi-Xenons. Future Plans: Selling my current Audi A8 Quattro Sport and replace is with a newer D4 Audi A8L with the 4.2V8 Twin Turbo setup once again it must be black. I'm looking for one with the options added where it has the rear recliing seats, with heated outers. Bose speakers minimum and B&O's if affordable. Rear and back door sun blinds prefered. Planned Mods: Upon the arrival of my A8L D4, I will be once again having the ECU remapped to a performance setting over economy. Rear Tints as dark as can go whilst also tinting the front windows with a medium tint. Once again I will be purchasing lowering links for the air ride suspension and setting it at 55mm lower when in comfort as my desire rideheight over standard. Alloys will be 21" however the one current most likly to be the next car already has a brand new set of 2016 S8Plus wheels on it. its a CDRom as opposed to DVD, sadly I have no computers with an optical drive to rip you a copy.
