Cursing Sidelight bulb replacement
Why does changing a bulb prove to be so problematic.
Got the bulb failure light driving between dorset and hertfordshire last night, so today set about replacing the failed bulb. The bulb that failed was the drivers side sidelight. First thing I discovered is that unlike the passenger side, the airbox is in the way and you cannot remove the bulb cover from the headlight without messing with the airbox. So after 1/2 hour of taking things to bits and putting them back together again, finally got the bulb changed. Passenger side could be done in 5 mins of course as nothing is in the way.

The lights are a bit of a pain.
It all seemed like a bit of a challenge to the designers. How much stuff can they squeeze in to the space as possible. Why not make it an extra couple of inches longer. Its not like its going to matter to much.
