The web site says £4.40 all day, so have some small change with you however long you're staying.

Parking at Bamburgh is £2 in the car park, so not sure what they will do if we are driving into the grounds.

See below copied from my post above, includes entry and parking and we can leave the cars there for the whole time we are there, it's a rate they do for car clubs and gives us access directly to the Courtyard for pictures.

"There is a charge for entry of £10 per adult and £5 for under age 16. We will be collecting money from you on the Saturday morning so could I please ask you all to ensure you have cash with you as I suspect there are no cash machines near the Hotel."

cheers

Alas the A8 is still with Autohaus and I'm not going to be getting it back before the weekend, and still waiting to be told if its just a thermostat problem or the head gaskets. I may pop down to bamburgh so if you see a sad man driving a (reliable) alfa with a chocolate Labrador and a camera that will be me.

That's ok, it'll be good to see you, if you can make it - and the more cameras/cameramen (& chocolate labs!) the better - and at least Brian and I will be interested in the Alfa...

It's looking like we won't get away until around 6-7pm due to work commitments, in which case it's going to be quite late when we get to the area so we'll probably head straight to our accommodation. We should be at The Lindisfarne Inn bright and early Saturday morning though.

See y'all there

Hope you can make it . You sound like you need a dose of positivity from other '8 owners.
