ODIS v VCDS
Currently playing and learning ODIS. Once I become a bit more familiar with the interface I'll update a comparison with VCDS. I've only tested ODIS for 20mins on one of the A4's, but initially it seems quite a bit slower and clunky. More to come...

Cool I downloaded it a while ago but never installed, am I correct in saying you need a vas clone?

That's correct Del, I took a punt on one of the VAS 5054A clones. One big advantage is it's wireless
Could do a breakfast if you want to test it out.

I was not a fan of ODIS.
Installed it a couple of times and never got on with it. Found VCDS easier to use and intuitive than ODIS. I only had an hour or so on it. I guess there are some bonuses to it?
