I looked out my window the other morning and my boot was open ... must have pressed the button at some point... "Lucky I have a module fitted to close from the remote also " so no cold feet at 7 am

This is the problem after the boot remote mod.
The remote has a range of over 50 yards. We are always doing it, but since the spring buffer mod it opens with a loud click that can be heard as you walk away.

Windows winding themselves down, or the sunroof opening a crack is MOST often a sign of water ingress, moisture in the wrong place.
More common than you think too.
