Default Best place for jack stands?

Need to lift the car this weekend for new rear pads, discs and cleaning the calipers.

Where is best place to support it on jack stands? Or should I use a regular jack and work one side at a time?

DON'T use the jack out the boot!

I pick up the car using the jacking points (with a trolly jack or the modified SAAB jack i have) then shove a stand or block under the rear subframe where the lower arm connects to it.
