Interior wiring loom - 28.4kg
Just spent 4 hours stripping down a D3 interior wiring loom to wires, MOST loop and plugs only and it weighed in at 28.4kg. Depending on interior spec others will be + / - this weight.
A mildly interesting post for a Sunday afternoon.

The burning question is why and where the pictures?

I didn't strip it out from my car so no pictures. But bought a loom from our sponsor, similar to below library photo. It arrived with all the plastic guides, clips, trunking, fuses, relays etc - even the yaw module.
As for why, I had a random thought it would be useful to have a spare supply of plugs, optical cable etc and A8Parts accepted my offer. If you need a plug Del I'm only down the road

Could I have a instrument cluster and gateway plug with some wire attached?

Ah, well I may need the instrument cluster plug for something I've been thinking about. You're welcome to the gateway plug, I just need to remove the ACC bus pins for my own use from that plug and it's yours.
