Interesting.... Mine you can defo feel the difference if you put it down to dynamic, but I do have 20's and the pukka 'sport suspension' which I still dont know what the difference is mechanically, but at £600 for the option, I guess something must be a bit different other than just vagcom calibrating ride height...

I guess I could look it up if I wasnt so busy still trying to put my house back together...

Yeah, I think I've read that before, but even though on the surface it looks really detailed, it still doesnt really explain why Audi charge folks £600 for what seems to be only a different firmware...

So, in theory at least, if the shocks themselves are identical (and nowhere in the doc does it seem to suggest they aren't?), I wonder if you can just change the ECU (or flash the sporty firmware) and get true sport mode with the stiffer dampening....

Intereting doc, and as Ian says, just seems to suggest the control units are different.

I need to play with my suspension a bit more as mine is sport and I didn't notice much difference, but maybe I didn't use the optiosn for long enough and I just leave it in dynamic all the time anyway.

Yep. I find Comfort smooths the ride around our ropey streets & Dynamic tightens everything up.
Then yank the shift into Sports mode and everything gets ...... interesting.
The police are so impressed that they have a charge scheme for using all the horses. Its about £60 quid a pop if I remember rightly. And you get to join their loyalty club and collect points too. Apparently there's an interesting surprise when you get to 12

But surely you can legitimately claim that you didnt realise the speed you were doing because you were watching your tyre temperatures at the time
