Unhappy It's not my week!

Early yesterday morning, I backed the car out of the garage, still half asleep and on autopilot....

....forgetting that my Father-in-Law was staying.

B****R!

Mine's repairable and booked in next week. Father-in-Law's is a new (well, ebay special!) bumper.

Bugger!

Didn't you only have the bumpers repainted earlier in the year as well?!

Unlucky Jim

Have done something similar myself years back, autopilot is an arse sometimes.

But don't forget that bad luck comes in 3s...

The 8 bumper took it well, looks like you might get away with just painting.

It sounds to me like entirely your Father-In-Laws fault. Can you bill him ?

Bad luck sir!

Yes, I had the rear bumper painted late last year. And it is cracked, but my body shop man says he can plastic weld it from the inside and it'll look fine. It's going in to have the bumper removed for repair on Wednesday and should be ready to refit Saturday latest.

And I'm really hoping this s**t doesn't come in threes!

Is "half asleep" similar to "half pished" Jim?

Sorry to hear of another bit of bad luck, hope you get it sorted soon

Strewth! Bet that woke you up Jim,
I did exactly the same last year, but with a stone wall. I'm still trying to find the person responsible for building it exactly where I was sleep reversing.

Anyway, let me know when the third thing has happened. Till then, i'm avoiding Scotland/
