Qi Charger

I was considering making a qi charger for our car to charge the phone but came accross this

Does anyone have it and if you do whats your thoughts on it?

I don't have one but it would be great to eliminate the clutter of charging leads.
A lot of reviews of similar items indicate the charging rate to be very slow, possibly taking twice as long to fully charge a phone.
It's also quite pricey for what it is.

It is quite pricey considering the qi charging pcb I bought was a couple of quid

Wireless chargers are only a few quid from ebay.. Used to use them on my old Galaxy S5 as the connector was broken. All i did was put a band on it to hold the phone in place

If it's anything like the one a new A4 courtesy car I had then it's hopeless. Left mine on it for about half an hour and it didn't gain a single percent during that whole time (Galaxy S6). That was in the centre console under the big armrest.
