D3 whats it worth

Hello All

Anyone know what my A8 will be worth, not what the bottom book for your car and top wack for their car stealers think
3 litre Tdi quattro sport 78000 miles, history, quartz grey, black leather, 2 former owners, car is in excellent condition
Absolutely love my car but fancy a change, Iam not prepared to give it away, if I see something I like and am offered good or proper money for it I will let it go, if not i will keep it as the car is in excellent condition

I've recently bought a D3, and while I was searching I made an Excel database with all recent prices. I still have that and can estimate your car. Just give me your number plate date? (05, 55, 06 etc...?)

£12k is bang on the asking price trend line for a '57 with 78k miles. Use that as a base and go higher as the car is in excellent condition.

Yes, I think dealers will probably offer sub £10k so they can make their profit. My database was mixed with forecourt price and private sellers.

That's what I said when they asked me what I thought it was worth, main dealer offered £8800 to £9000 against a £14250 A5
The worst of it was, to me if they gave £9000 for mine it would be £5250 to swap, they came back with £6000 to swap ????
I put the phone down in disgust
