Another begging post
Guys,
I know we all do our bit for charity and have supported other members on their quest to raise funds, but it's my turn to go begging for cash. I've decided to drag my backside around the streets of Glasgow on the 5th of September on the Great Scottish Run (OK I'm only doing the 10K, not the half-marathon, but it's better than nowt!) aiming to beat the time I set 6 years ago when I was but a boy  Given that I couldn't decide which charity to raise money for and that the A8OC's preferred charity is Help for Heroes, they have been chosen as the charity I'll support this year. If you could all donate a few quid (and those of you that can, add gift aid as it gives 28% more to charity for no impact on your pocket) we can raise a significant sum to help the lives of those who have risked and nearly lost theirs on our behalf. Sorry Richard, I am all for helping with charitable causes and have done so to hth before but have donated all I can really afford elsewhere at this moment in time . Good Luck with the run.
