D3 coding gear display on Pre facelift
I've seen this on some FL A8s where the current get in use when in D or S is displayed to the right of PRNDS on the bottom line. My PF D3 only has PRNDS, so the question is can I code the Auto Trans module to display the current gear.
I know its not going to be in coding, but I believe its going to be one of the adaption channels possibly.

I have read somewhere about coding this but can't remember where.
I'll have another look and if I find it I'll let you know. Got a feeling its more to do with the cluster than the box.

I found something about alternative gear display but it does not apply to PF D3's, as it needs to be done with the long coding helper. The PF D3 does not use long coding in the instruments or auto trans module.
