Screen washer just packed up.
All,
On the motorway, just when I needed it, screen washer gave one last feeble squirt, then stopped. Now, I am in suit and tie, so am not scrabbling under bonnet right now, but does anyone have a checklist as to what I should look at first... In a hotel tonight, so not looking forward to doing anything without tools and a boiler-suit! Zip 2002 S8 FE |

MIne did this recently, all it was was a rubber pipe popped off.
It was under the cover at top left of engine bay, there is a 90 degree elbow, I assume there was a blockage and the pressure was enought to pop it off, I cleared both jets and blew it through with air to make sure it was clear. Otherwise, get someone to 'activate' teh swirtch and listen for a whirr of a motor, no whirr, start checking fuses etc. |

My mate who is a mastertech at Audi gave me a load of vag screenwash and told me that the blockages are due to people using different types of screenwash which lead to the blockages, pressure and pipes popping off!
