Fits later TV / video boot mounted unit for RNS-D head units.

Has two separate AV inputs (phono connectors).

Purchased for my 2002 S8, but didn't do what I wanted, so essentially brand new.

Yep.

It's for connecting auxiliary video / audio sources to the factory TV tuner, eg DVD players, MP3 players, etc

Ok, and this enables two devices can be connected at once but obviously only one will work at a time - is that correct?

I have a 99 D2 S8 FL with RNS-D and a redundant TV tuner. I assume this will fit/work with my set-up or do I need to check anything specific first?

I don't think it will fit your tuner, think only suitable for later 2001-2002 cars? Maybe someone else can comment?

Ok no probs, in that case I'd rather leave it in case it doesn't fit and likewise if someone else can verify that it will fit...?
