Long may it continue Ray!

It was just one of those meet ups which turned into a great one, driven off the back, I have to say, of some careful realisations and schemings by Moltaue (Mark & Lyn), and ably assisted by The Laird (Jim & Christine) who did lots of orgainising of the venue, the cake and of people to make them aware (behind the scenes) of what was going on! Sprinkle in a little bit of magic added by the attandance at the meet of Kevin Nicks and his "Fastest Shed" (a V8 RS4 powered record breaking Garden Shed on wheels) and all the fabulous owners and their cars who attended (thank you to EVERYONE who made it!)

I'll shortly upload a selection of pictures from myself and Arek (a new member of the group who drove up from Oxfordshire to attend because "it sounded like a fun thing to do"!) for your delight and delectation! . . .. .

What a great get together, and a privilege to share that day with Ray.

Sorry I was unable to attend this celebration due to health issues.

Ray, I hope you had a "blast"!

It was a bit of a worry that you might drop out at the last minute and that we'd all have to commemorate your Birthday without you!

Plan B would've been to send you the photos as we ate your cake and opened all your presents.

Fortunately, plan A went rather well

It was a very enjoyable day with great company. Thanks to Jim and Neil for helping to organise it (the inclusion of the Fastest Shed was a brilliant idea and a great addition Neil!).

Great venue, a perfect excuse for a celebration - worth it just to see Ray's expression... - and brilliantly organised by Mark (+Lyn), Neil & Jim. Each of whom have lots of "form" when it comes to organising our events, so we really shouldn't be surprised, though without them this forum just wouldn't be the same.

Well done guys - & girl - it was an inspired and perfect event.

And Happy Birthday Ray - I still can't quite believe that you're (nearly...) 80
