Additionally you should try shielding the wiring between the ballast unit and the lamp to reduce interference.

They are bolted to chassis anyway so should be grounded.

Just need to work out with the seller why the hell was I sent 6000k version if I specifically said I do not want 6000 and see if they will send out required colour free of charge or at reduced cost

Seller has offered to refund half the cost and I can keep them or he will pay for return postage + full refund if I post them back.
