heated seats

Just found another thing not working. both the heated seats are not working. could this be a simple as a fuse?

Assuming your right hand drive you will find the fuse at least for drivers side in the fuse panel at drivers end of the dash, it's labelled appropriately and is 20 amp

If it is blown it will be clear as day.
