gearbox mount
Morning chaps. I'm going to be changing one of my gearbox mounts this weekend. Does anyone know the torque settings for the bolts? Also, is there any special way of removing it? I know I will have to drop the subframe a little but I take it I won't have to remove it altogether. Or am I wrong?

Hi Steve never done one before mate but i'd be doing it up FT, you might have to have the car tracked after to check the camber / caster if you undo the subframe though.

Torque settings are:
42Nm for gearbox support to gearbox and support to gearbox mounting 40Nm for gearbox mounting to subframe bolts ElsaWIN suggests you don't touch the front subframe mounts but can drop the rears 10cm without issue and no need to check alignment after

Thanks Adrian. Some useful information there. I haven't done it yet as other things have taken priority but will let you know how I get on.
